CABLEX carries out the necessary organizational, technical, and logical-technical procedures and measures to protect personal data, prevent the accidental or deliberate unauthorized destruction of data, their modification or loss, and unauthorized processing.

Third-party services on the website

We use the following services of external providers to operate this website. In doing so, certain data is transmitted to the provider, at least your IP address.

The data subject has the right to have CABLEX correct any inaccurate personal data relating to them without undue delay. The data subject has the right to supplement incomplete personal data, taking into account the purposes of the processing. (iii) right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”);

The data subject has the right to have CABLEX delete the personal data concerning them without undue delay, and CABLEX shall delete personal data without undue delay, unless there is a reason why the deletion of personal data is not allowed or CABLEX has a legal interest in storing the data for a specified period of time (e.g. a legal requirement to store certain user data, proving fulfilment of an company's contractual obligation to the user). (v) right to data portability;

The data subject has the right to receive personal data concerning them and held by CABLEX in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable form and to transmit the data to another data controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided, when processing is based on user consent. (vi) right to object;

The data subject has the right to object, on grounds relating to his or her position, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning him or her, based on the processing of personal data necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by CABLEX or a third party, except where such interests outweigh the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, including the creation of profiles based on these provisions. CABLEX shall cease processing personal data unless they demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject or for the enforcement, establishment or defence of legal claims.

(vii) right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of personal data;

The data subject has the right to file a complaint regarding the processing of personal data. Likewise, any data subject has the right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office if they consider that the processing of personal data concerning them violates the provisions in the field of personal data protection.

Request the deletion of your personal data

You can send us a request to erase your personal data at any time by email to gdpr@cablex-group.com or by registered post to the registered office of Cablex d.o.o., Cesta Ste Marie aux Mines 9, 4290 Tržič, Slovenia, marked 'GDPR'. We will respond to your request without undue delay and at the latest within one month of receipt.

Final provisions

For any issues not regulated in this document and in the event of a dispute regarding the use of the website, the law of the Republic of Slovenia shall apply.

Portal for the reporting of irregularities

Under its Code of conduct, the Cablex Group is obliged to uphold business integrity and act ethically. A system for reporting irregularities has therefore been established. This system enables us to fulfill the requirements of the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive (EU) 2019/1937.

If you suspect a case of internal fraud or a violation of the Cablex Group's Code of Conduct, please inform us using the safe channel for notifying irregularities.

Irregularities include:

  • illegal activities such as theft, violence or threats with violence, or negligent conduct with company assets
  • fraud, money laundering or embezzlement
  • offering or accepting bribes
  • financial irregularities
  • disregard or violation of legal or other regulations relating to regulatory requirements.

The system for reporting irregularities is intended for all stakeholders. All submitted reports remain confidential and can only be accessed by the organization’s trustee. Every report will be studied carefully, and we will act appropriately. Complete protection of the person making the notification will be ensured throughout the entire process, and after it is concluded.
